Purpose and goals
The purpose of the project is to enhance access to lifelong learning for adults and increase their participation. The project is aligned with the mission of the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education, which promotes a culture of lifelong learning and supports fair, accessible, and high-quality education for all adults in Slovenia.
The project primarily targets educators and professionals engaged in the development and delivery of adult education, particularly those working with vulnerable groups. The outcomes of the project will indirectly benefit education policymakers, social partners, and other stakeholders.
Through the project, a range of materials, programmes, approaches, and tools will be developed to strengthen the competencies of adult educators and improve the quality of adult education. Some of these outcomes will directly support vulnerable groups. All results will be publicly available and free of charge.

The field of adult education quality is addressed within Project Cluster 2: Assessing and Developing the Quality of Education, which places particular emphasis on digitalisation and on the development of tools for the high-quality implementation of distance and hybrid education.
The purpose of the activities within Cluster 2 is to provide further development support to educational organisations in strengthening their internal quality assurance systems. The activities are also aimed at developing programmes that enhance the competencies of professionals and other adult educators, particularly:
